What we enjoyed the most in Grand Teton travel this summer, was canoe riding in Jenny lake. On the first day, I rode with my kids in the canoe, thinking that I could row but it failed, and we were all exhausted within half an hour. I didn't know how to navigate the boat. (I thought I am strong enough to move the canoe, but the strength was not the most important thing. I learned that the first thing is secure the orientation of the boat.) Also, the power balance between me and my kiddo was not good. We just went around and around at the same place.)
However, the next day, my kids wanted to try again, and this time, my husband took the row. (I took a rest in a car.) He was an expert in rowing and navigating, which made our kids shout for joy.
The money for canoes is worth it because it gave us happy memories. I took the photo of the price list. Hope it helps for someone's family trip plan.
Before we got on, the staff made sure there is no problems in the canoes and told us some tips for rowing.
For family trips or friend travelers, I recommend command these Jenny lake canoes, because it can be a beautiful experience with your loved ones. And for those who do not want to row, there is a boat shuttle, which can hold, I guess, more than 30 people at a time. If you don’t like to row, this boat shuttle is a great option.
Our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton was unforgettable. I will keep posting. Hope it helps.
