I wore my Mizuno Inspire 17 running shoes for the last two years and I think it's time to say goodbye to my first affectionate running shoes. (I am planning to buy new pairs.) Even though I could not run regularly, after I wore Mizuno Inspire 17, it was like a fresh start as I ran 100 km a month with them. After that, I feel motivated to work out and willing to find a healthy lifestyle. (I even started the diet, too!)
These are my first Mizuno running shoes, and they were chosen because of my foot condition when I was in Korea. I googled some running info and found a marathon coach, and with his advice, I got those. (At that time, my left foot had some arch issues as I ran with the wrong posture. Thanks to the running coach and this Mizuno Inspire 17, my running style got better dramatically, so I entered a runner's world.
In the machine examination, my feet are 240mm, but the coach recommends 245 or 250 mm. And he added that if I want to join the half marathon, I should wear 255mm because it helps better. So, these running shoes are size 8 in America, and 250 in Korea, comfortable enough. Since these are designed for wounded feet, the ankle part is strong and fixes my ankle nicely and tight. As you wear these Mizuno Inspire 17, it feels comfortable and flexible, helping beginners when they are exhausted. They keep runner's foot injury or ankle sprain, having good elastic.
Mizuno Inspire 17 is also designed for wide feet, and this is s strong point for a woman like me. I spent more than 100 $ but they are worth it. I recommend Mizuno Inspire 17 for all beginner runners.
Now, I google for new running shoes, and I heard that the Nike Pegasus series or Asics, and Hoka series are great from several Youtube runners. I googled nearby Khol, but they have none, and the Nike Factory does not provide the search function. So, I am thinking about the Amazone, (but people say that there are tons of fake Nike shoes in online malls). Anyway, if you are thinking about buying running shoes, I hope my experience helps.
