Colter Bay Jackson Lake Review in Grand Teton National Park

One of the best places for my kiddos in Grand Teton National Park was Jackson Lake. It was large but not deep, so it felt safe for kids to play in. My kids enjoyed playing in the water, making stone castles, and stone dams. There live fish, so my kids tried to catch some with bare hands but never had the chance. There were people who brought their boats, like canoes or Kayaks but there were no rentals. (I wish there were!)

The water three or four meters away from the shore still swallow, I saw a man who swam, and the water was just his chest deep. Although my husband and I were watching kids (because accidents happen.), the atmosphere was peaceful and cheerful. Kids playing in the water, parents enjoying the calming lake scene, isn't it fascinating?

I didn't have much knowledge of Grand Teton, but there are lodges in Colter bay village in Grand Teton, I am sure staying in those Grand Teton lodges would be wonderful. When we were in Yellowstone, the lodges seems quite attractive, because they are in the middle of the National Park. This time, we missed it, but next time, we may get it.
